Gold Card for Senior Citizens (link from Brandywine School District)

Did you know that senior citizens (age 62 and up) who reside in the Brandywine School District can become members of the Golden Club and gain access to school events for free?

A Golden Club card is all you need to attend any home athletic event, musical or theater production, or art show at any of the schools in the Brandywine School District – free of charge.  Your Golden Club card is not transferable, and there is no need to renew it yearly.  All of our schools, from elementary through high schools, offer a wide variety of events.  For more information on the schedules or the Golden Club card program, please call any of the schools.  (You will find school contact information within the links on that page.)  You can also call the District Office at 793-5000 for information.

Please be aware that some events have limited seating capacity and ticket sales.  If you would like to attend such an event, please present your Golden Club card to that school office for a free ticket prior to the performance date.

We hope you enjoy the events our schools have to offer!

NCCPD Senior Roll Call Lifeline Program

Police Senior Roll Call Lifeline ProgramThe Senior Roll Call Lifeline is a free program provided by New Castle County that calls the homes of its subscribers every day to ensure the welfare of its elderly residents, many of whom live alone. Daily phone calls are made to those enrolled to make sure they are doing well and do not require emergency assistance.

If after several attempts the calls are unsuccessful, help is sent to the home to check on the well being of the subscriber. To learn more about the program and participate, or to sign up a loved one, please call the New Castle County Police Community Services Senior Roll Call Line at 302-395-8159.
